Earth Day Indiana Festival Recap

The 2013 Earth Day Indiana Festival was a success!

Spring rhymes with the beginning of the sampling season for CEES.

The season opening was supposed to start today but unfortunately the bad weather conditions did not allow us to sample Eagle Creek Reservoir. Due to strong wind gusts reaching 28 mph and a wind chill of 37F, the field trip was postponed to tomorrow.

CEES has moved!

New building, new opportunity!

CEES has recently finished relocating to the Indiana University Research and Technology Corporation (IURTC), which is located downtown on 10th Street, right next to the White River Canal. To learn more about the happenings at IURTC, click here.

Service Learning Event at Oliver's Woods, Friday, March 15th

We had lots of fun Friday, March 15th removing invasive honeysuckle at Oliver's Woods, a Central Indiana Land Trust property located just east of the Keystone Fashion Mall along the White River!  The chilly Friday morning did not keep us from working in teams to clear the plants from what will eventually be a prairie of native grasses and wildflowers.  These new plants will be a good source of

FEH News

In collaboration with the continuing professional education program for the Indiana Association of Realtors, the FEH Team and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Water, is developing a 3-hour continuing education course for Realtors on flood hazards. The course will be designed to be delivered around the state by Association's staff educators, and as an online course.
