3:20       Room 101 - "What Does the Indiana Bat Say?"

Performance by 4th grade students at Inspire Academy in Muncie, Indiana - See a live performance of this YouTube sensation and learn about the Indiana bat!


Educational and Environmental Exhibits: ISU Bat Center, IUPUI Center for Earth and Environmental Science, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Indiana Karst Conservancy, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Organization for Bat Conservation, Indiana Native Plant and Wildflower Society, Indianapolis Zoo, Central Indiana Grotto, Hendricks County Parks, Sierra Club, Marian University Nina Mason Pulliam EcoLab, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc., Blue Indy.

All day activities:  Inflatable cave, kids activity centers, informational exhibits, bat box information, live bat display, Edible Bats Bake Sale in the Chiroptera Cafe, art contest display, bat conservation room (103) and bat merchandise for sale.

Face Painting Located in Room 104, 10am-12pm and 1-3pm.  Get a batty design painted on your cheek or hand for $1 or a wildlife tattoo for 25₵.

Silent Auction:  Visit the silent auction in Room 105 and place a bid on your favorite items.  We have a variety of items from which to choose! Proceeds allow the Indiana Bat Festival to remain a free event.  Bidding closes at 3:50pm.
