How to get there - Driving Directions - Small PowerPoint File
Background Information Provided by Noblesville Parks and Recreation Hague Road Park is an approximately 80 acre site located in the Morse Reservoir watershed on the west side of Noblesville, county seat of Hamilton County. It is a relatively new property donated to the Noblesville Parks and Recreation Department by the Dr. Carl Holl family. Bisected by Hague Road and State Road 38, the quadrant of the Hague Road Park where we will be working is approximately 60% wooded and 40% abandoned field. The northwest quadrant is designated to be used as a developer wetland mitigation area. Future use for this property includes hiking trails, wildlife observation, fishing areas, a picnic pavilion with restrooms, two passive recreation fields, and a vehicle parking area. If feasible, a nature center on this property would be a wonderful asset to the community. Crucial woodland area will remain protected as habitat for endangered and threatened bat species. Trails link the Hague Road Park to Morse Beach Park at Morse Reservoir, the South Harbour and Whitcomb Ridge subdivisions, downtown Noblesville, and future trails eventually linking into the Monon Trail. Surrounded by a growing residential community, the Hague Road Park provides a wonderful respite from the urban/suburban environment for the citizens of the growing community of Noblesville and its indigenous wildlife.
