John Ulmer, ECWA Co-Chair
 |
John was a member of the Eagle Creek Watershed Taskforce,
the predecessor to the Alliance, and has been working in the
watershed for several years. He lives north of
Zionsville in Boone County, very near the confluence of
Mounts Run and Eagle Creek. He is retired from various data
processing positions in the direct marketing industry.
He holds the Professional Certificate in Watershed Management from
the Indiana Watershed Leadership Academy, has completed the Natural
Resources Leadership Academy’s course,
is a volunteer instructor with Hoosier Riverwatch,
Vice-chair of the Eagle Creek Park Foundation Advisory Committee,
Board and Executive Committee member of Hoosier Heartland Resource
Conservation and Development Council and a Court Appointed Special
Advocate (CASA) with the Juvenile Court in Boone County.
Previously,
John was the Conservation Chair for the Hoosier Chapter of the
Sierra Club and a past member of the Environmental Quality Service
Council of the State Legislature.

Lenore
P. Tedesco, ECWA Co-Chair |
Lenore Tedesco is a
faculty member of the IUPUI Department of Earth Sciences and the
Director of the IUPUI Center for Earth and Environmental Science (CEES),
which is the grant sponsor to the Eagle Creek Watershed EPA Section
319 Implementation Grant.
In addition to directing the Center that sponsors the grant, she
serves as the Co-Chair to the Eagle Creek Watershed Alliance.
Lenore also
manages the Central Indiana Water Resources Partnership, a
partnership between CEES and Veolia Water Indianapolis, LLC. This
partnership has led to a significant amount of water quality
research on the watersheds that feed Indianapolis’ drinking water
reservoirs, including Eagle Creek Watershed and Reservoir. Lenore’s
research focuses on addressing regional watershed and water quality
issues, wetland restoration, and environmental education and
outreach. |
Angie Tilton, ECWA Education Committee Chair |
In addition to volunteering her time to serve as the Education
Committee Chair, Angie Tilton is the Indiana Project WET (Water
Education for Teachers) Coordinator, a program of the Department of
Natural
Resources, Division of Fish Wildlife. Prior to her current position
with DNR, she served as the Water Quality Educator for the
Tippecanoe County Soil & Water Conservation District where she
participated in other watershed groups such as the Wildcat Creek and Lauramie Creek Watershed groups. She now works with educators of
all varieties to promote the awareness, appreciation, knowledge and
stewardship of water resources through the international,
interdisciplinary water science program- Project WET.
Angie has a B.S. from Purdue University in Natural Resources and
Environmental Science with a specialization in Water Quality. She
is currently seeking her Master’s in Earth Science at IUPUI.

Chuck
Brinkman, ECWA Technical Committee Co-Chair
 |
Chuck has a genuine
interest in clean water and the outdoors. He participates in a
number of groups that protect Indiana's waterways, including serving
the Eagle Creek Watershed Alliance in a leadership role by chairing
the technical committee. Chuck enjoys kayaking and
fly-fishing many
of the streams in Indiana.

Sharon
Adams, ECWA Technical Committee Co-Chair |
Sharon Adams has been a member of the Eagle Creek
Watershed Group for a number of years. She views her efforts to
protect the environment a necessary extension of her
responsibilities as a public health advocate. Sharon is a graduate
of IUPUI (SPEA), and a registered environmental health specialist.
She is a chapter officer in The Indiana Environmental Health
Association and the director of the Environmental Division of the
Boone County Health Department. She has been with the department for
10 years.

Angie Dye, ECWA Communication Committee Chair

Angie Dye serves as the
Communications Manager for Veolia Water Indianapolis, the
operator of Indianapolis Water. Prior to joining Veolia
Water, Angie worked for the City of Indianapolis for the
Departments of Parks & Recreation and Metropolitan Development.
